Now that you have detached the keypad, gather the cotton swabs and rubbing alcohol.

Dampen a cotton swab by placing 1 to 3 drops of rubbing alcohol on the tip.

Be careful not to completely soak the the cotton swab with the rubbing alcohol.

DO NOT pour the rubbing alcohol directly onto the keypad. Too much liquid exposure can permanently damage it.
