[title] Huawei Mate 9 Teardown
[* black] We start with our teardown and we get some chills by the very grey and remote appearance of our Huawei Mate 9.
[* black] On the backside we can spy (or we get spyed by) the second-generation Leica Dual Camera. Huawei says that it "renders images in unprecedented detail". All we want in the moment, is to take it out of the phablet to get a closer look.
[* black] The fingerprint sensor is placed in the center of the phablet right below the camera. In the tests of the Huawei Lab it was 20% faster when compared to the Mate 8.
[* black] Before we start to disassemble the Mate 9 we place it next to its closest combatants - the Huawei 9 Plus which is only slightly smaller with 0.4 inches less display diagonal. We personally prefer the curved and more modern looking back of the Mate 9.
