| - | [* black] To remove the palmrest, use a plastic opening tool or guitar pick to work your way around the palmrest. Do this until all 3 sides are clear. Once all 3 sides are clear, lift the front of the palmrest off and disconnect the keyboard and trackpad. Lift the reminder of the palmrest off by pulling forward slowly. |

Once the palmrest is loose, lift the front as shownand disconnect the keyboard and trackpad cables. To do this, flip the black plastic tabs on the connectors and pull the cables out. |
| + | [* black] Once the keyboard and trackpad are disconnected, loosen the back of the palmrest for the next step. ***DO NOT remove the entire palmrest yet.*** |
