Also coaster brakes tend to get hot when used on long descents. But seen in the long term it is nearly maintenance-free and only needs some lubrication from time to time.
[* black] The guide arm of the bowden wire has no gap and the wire is riveted at the end. Which means we can not thread it out and leave it attached to the brake.
[* black] So we loosen the guide arm that holds the brake to the frame and lift out the 16" wheel with its 28 spokes, the roller brake and the 3-gear hub.
