-[* black] Cut the zipties that hold the front panel wires on the fan. This is required as it is the best way to free up room on the front panel to access the control boards.
-[* black] With the faceplate loose and all of the cables disconnected, unclip the faceplate one side at a time. The faceplate should lay on your workspace with enough room to work on accessing the control boards.
