+[* black] ***Hard Disk snapshots***: Close the laptop, and do not mess with it until the hard disk activity light goes out. If you have a SSD, HDD or SSHD this will affect the time this takes to happen, so do not touch it until it's off. ***This is how mine is set.***
+[* black] ***RAM Dump***: First, save anything you are working on to a flash drive or the internal hard drive and then shut the laptop down before doing this.
+[* icon_note] If you have the power cord handy and it saves the system state to RAM, simply plug the power cord in as this will preserve what you are doing as well.
