- | [* black] Once the keyboard panel releases from the clips, you will have 2 ribbon cables attached on the inside of the laptop, one for the trackpad and the other for the keyboard. |

- | [* black] These cables remove very easily as it is a latch that closes down on the cable. To remove it, place your finger on the latch as shown in the photo and lift up |
- | [* black] Do that for both ribbon cables and they should release with ease. |
- | [* black] Your keyboard panel is now fully detached and the laptop's internal components are ready to be accessed. Put the keyboard panel aside in a safe place. Your laptop should look as shown in the last image. |
