+[* black] (Not shown) Remove any batteries (if installed) from the controller. To save time, I removed them from this controller in advance.
[* black] To disassemble the controller, you will need a TR8 Torx bit and plastic pry tools.
[* black] Remove both side trims and the 2 screws on both side. Set these aside for later.
[* black] Remove the screw under the battery label. This also serves as a tamper seal, so the label has to be removed or damaged to access this screw. Set this screw aside with the rest.
