Introduction
Follow the steps in this guide to replace a cracked or faulty screen in an iPhone 7. This guide includes removing the original display assembly, as well removing the home button, earpiece speaker, front camera assembly, and LCD shield plate from the original display. These parts should be transferred to your new screen before installing it.
If your replacement part already includes the earpiece speaker, front camera assembly, and LCD shield plate, you can follow this shorter guide which only has instructions for removing the home button.
Note that since the home button sensor is factory-paired to the iPhone's logic board, using any replacement part will result in losing Touch ID ''and'' Home Button functionality.
