If your camera's motion detection is creating a lot of false positives, this guide will show you how to replace the infrared blocking filter.
Gaining access to the camera lens (and thus filter) requires taking off all of the casing, removing the motherboard and the entire infrared LED board.
The glass filter is actually located inside a self-contained unit with a battery and cannot be removed without damaging it. The whole unit will have to be replaced and sits within the camera lens holder.
