iRobot Roomba 4160 Dust Filter Replacement |
|
Introduction |
The dust filter is used to help separate dirt and debris from the air intake in the Roomba. It is a fine gray semicircular mesh screen surrounded by a black plastic frame, which is mounted in another yellow frame. This assembly slides into the dust bin, which is on the back of the Roomba, opposite of the bumper. Over time, the filter may get clogged, inhibiting suction and cleaning performance. Also, the Roomba may overheat, due to the limited airflow through the Roomba. This guide will show you how to find and replace the dust filter on a Roomba 4160. |
