If your buttons are jammed or broken, here is a replacement guide on how to access the internals using the #0/#00 bit, a Phillips screwdriver, and an opening tool (such as a plastic pry bar). Before using this guide, please review our troubleshooting pages.
*Make sure to power off the device before beginning. On step 4, the volume button will come off easily when prying open the unit. On step 5, there is a gray wire attached to the motherboard. Be careful not to pull the motherboard aggressively.
