Introduction
The Audio-Technica AT-LP120-USB turntable was often manufactured with a faulty preamp, which modifying the noise level and quality electronically. This faulty preamp results in a dampened noise quality, and the only solution is to remove it and replace it with either a newer preamp made by Audio-Technica or another compatible 3rd party device maker.
