Introduction
A probable reason for the L and R buttons in your controller to stop working may be that they've have gotten misaligned within the controller and no longer hit the receiver when pressed. When the receiver is being pressed it makes an audible distinct clicking noise. If attempting to realign the buttons without disassembly has not worked the next thing to do is to access the controller internals to align it. To do so, follow this simple guide to replacing/realigning it, you’ll need a standard Phillips #00 screwdriver forthe L/R buttons. Since this will require working closely with thescrews involved in this replacement internal electronics be careful not to damage them so that the controller does not become entirely unresponsive.
