If you have a different model, you may encounter some minor disassembly differences, but the overall repair process will be the same. The water dispensing switch triggers a solenoid valve in the refrigerator so that it dispenses chilled water through the dispenser. If the switch fails, the refrigerator will either not dispense water or won't stop dispensing water. The repair is moderately difficult. The removal of the dispensing unit is probably the most challenging step.
