A potential issue for the touchpad not working is that the device itself is actually disabled. To fix this problem you will need an external mouse that is able to plug into a USB port on the laptop. Once you have this external mouse navigate to device manager -> Human Interface Devices -> Touchpad. Once you have found the touchpad in the device manager right click on it and press enable. |
