Title
How to fix the Acer Chromebook 11 C733 Wi-Fi Issue
Introduction
One of the bigger documented issues users have experienced with their Acer C733 Chromebook is dropping Wi-Fi. While their can be many reasons for a device to drop Wi-Fi signal their is a particular issue that is specific to the C733's design.
Specifically, this is caused by the placement of a rubber spacer near the M.2 slot on the device's logic board. If that spacer isn't in the correct place, then it can cause the logic board to flex whenever the computer is moved. This will result in the pins in the M.2 slot to bend out of place and will result in the Wi-Fi card to not have a proper connection.
While this guide will walk you though how to go about making this adjustment, their is also an official PDF provided by Acer that is featured on the [[Topic:Acer Chromebook 11 C733|iFixit Acer C733 page|new_window=true]] and in this guide.
