Introduction
This guide shows how to replace the flash assembly on a Nikon Coolpix B700 when the bulb stops working.
Tools for this work:
# Phillips screwdriver for 5.5 mm and 6 mm screws
# spudger to twist and spared parts
# Pry tool
# New flash unit
We have to separate the Nikon Coolpix B700 camera starting with the back frame, then we can open the camera and take internal parts out. After that, you can see the flash unit from inside and replace it easily. Make sure you unscrew all screws and separate the part gently. It’s not easy work, and it needs you to follow all steps carefully to avoid causing other parts to break or other issues.

For the old flash unit, you can see https://www.epa.gov/recycle/electronics-donation-and-recycling so you could recycle
