What kind of joke is this?! Spent an hour taking my toshiba apart and THERE IS NO DRIVE IN HERE!!!! WTF
Do we change ssd hearddisk 240gb with same ram
I agree with Hammerjockey Radios, you guys should be more clear. there’s no drive on this model.
I started to think the drive was missing b/c my model is just -1204, not the 1204X version. But then I looked again at the pics above. There is NO DRIVE in their pics either! Not until steps 7-8 where you can see they layed one in there. Steps 3,4,5&6... There Is NO drive so why would you be taking the battery out? Even if there WAS a drive in this model, unnecessary manipulation of a lithium battery is not a wise move.
Puzzled that when i view the instructions there is NO hard drive when it is opened then it APPEARS suddenly. When I opened mine there was NO HARDDRIVE!!! After more research I discovered that the SSD is actually chips on a board that are soldered DIRECTLY onto the motherboard and CANNOT BE UPGRADED!!! My model is cl15t-b1204x. My crying begins NOW. Love my laptop but with updated on win 10 there is NO MORE ROOM not even for a single APPLICATION! Going to try to install win 7
