This guide will show you how to disassemble your phone to remove and replace the headphone jack.

Lay phone face down with camera away from you as shown.

Push the cover up as shown in first picture. Then lift to remove as shown in the second.

The screws unfortunately require different heads on the screw driver so you will want to use the 26 Bit Kit. Make sure to keep them separated once removed by using the magnetic mat.

Slide a spudger or plastic opener under the white cover (as shown) and push toward your body to pop the cover off the end.

Again, using the 26 Bit Kit and the magnetic mat. These screws would be revealed by the removal of the white cover.

Slide either the plastic opener or the spudger under the black cover that is outlined and remove.

You can do this from any side. Slide a flat object, either the plastic opener or the spudger, from the side and lift. You may feel resistance on the sides where the buttons are located, but this is normal.

The jack will be the the back cover you just removed. Insert removal tool, tweezers, into the jack and lift up, the jack will pop out. Replace with your new jack.
