This repair may be necessary if the brush roll is not spinning. The belt is tight on the roll and may require some force to remove it.

Thanks… Would have taken me forever to figure out how to get to the belts…!!!
Wonderful directions and a great help, thanks. However one important factor was left out, the part number for the belts.
Where to get the carpet brush belt? What would the belt size be?
Add me to the rest. I also want a belt. Does anybody ever respond to these questions?
I’m hopeful we can find a source

the belt, roller brush, entire floor unit, etc are on amazon
Just been told by shark that you cant buy the belt in the UK and you have to buy the whole new head at £60!
What a rip off! Wont be buying a Shark again!
When you say buy a new head does that mean the whole floor unit
They made me buy a whole new motorized head for $99 last year. Just the duo roller doesn’t spin making it harder to push around. I still have the broken head so I think I want to take it apart and see if it’s just the belt. The new head cracked by the rear right wheel so maybe I can Frankenstein a good working one.
I have a shark rocket duo clean. I'm confused. Will have to wait if Shark will help?when i ring them. Pulling the foot apart seen to be allot of work if you don't just to be to the belt not knowing what you are doing or buy a new vacuum foot . Wish life was made easier
the belts for this are $6 on amazon part #x003p9e50v, you need a torx #10 to get into it and the sides are not easy to get off, seems a little harder then it should be to replace belts
