Thank-you for this Detailed replacement step. I do have one question: I am currently having an issue with my Refrigerator dropping its WIFI connection when the refrigerator door is opened or closed (same model). When it drops it goes back into AP mode and constantly chimes. If I wanted to just 'disable' WIFI all together on this refrigerator, could I just unplug the WIFI cable from the card and leave it unplugged? Would the refrigerator still function normal without this card and stop chiming to setup WIFI?

Stephen Landry - crwdns2934203:0crwdne2934203:0

Hi Nico, can you possibly answer Brad's question? I want to unplug my wifi board too! I have disabled the wifi through the control panel but my EMF meter shows that it is constantly sending out pulses that register quite high and hot on my meter.

Ron Larkin - crwdns2934203:0crwdne2934203:0

Hey Y'all I unplugged the wifi board and the frig is running fine and no more high EMF signals coming from the frig.

For everyone wondering where to buy a replacement module, I'll teach yall a insider handyman tech nerd trick. Look around on the module for a line that reads "Model". In this case in the upper right there is a line "Model: CWAM210S" (note: assume any 0 or O character is a zero, manufacturers typically avoid using O (the letter) specifically due to this confusion. However a 0 with a slash through it is of course a zero, and any other O can be assumed to be a letter. Still notice the subtle difference between 0 and O, it might be important. If all else fails, try both in the next step). Now, open a browser, and in the search/address bar type "CWAM210S". eBay and Amazon appear to have replacements for around $35, Samsung itself is psychotic trying to rob you for $160!!! That is frankly insane. Even $35 is a bit steep for what is a simple usb wifi adapter... Compare images, especially traces (little lines coming off the silver contacts) before ordering. And call Samsung the terrible thieves they are!!!

I know that might have sounded a little snarky to us in the know, and okay maybe there was some snark in it, but honestly some people just need to be shown exactly what to do in order to have a whole new world opened up to them. Do not downplay the inherent anxiety some people have over new things, especially in the expensive tech sector where a simple mistake can cost hundreds possibly even thousands of dollars. For the rest of yall, its okay, no one knows everything. We weren't born knowing anything we know now. We all live our own unique lives with our own unique experiences. It really is okay. Snark aside, I dont judge any of you. Certainly not for attempting to gain some deeper knowledge of the world around you. Keep that brain engaged, and always ask questions. You got this 😎👍
