Battery is located in the right side headphone housing.

Use a heat gun with temperature set to 140 F for about 2-3 minutes and heat the casing where it attaches together as seen in the picture.

After heating for about 2-3 minutes, separate the housing using a pry tool as seen in the pictures.

Use a soldering iron to desolder battery connection to remove battery and replace with new one.

Tell us where to connect the wires in the battery based on colors, please. The red and the green ones we can see on the pictures but the other 5 are twisted, impossible to identify.
P± T P- must be checked carefully when disconnecting the battery.
P+ is + for power supply and - for the same.
T is thought to stand for Thermistor.
Replacement batteries usually have three wires: red, white, and black. Red is +, black is -, and white is Thermistor.

My battery only was connected by two wires. Is that a newer edition of the Powerbeats than this one? Has Apple changed their wiring?
