The Otium Bluetooth Headphones are rated for 500 charge cycles. If your headphones will not hold charge, or charge at all, you may need to replace the battery.

Power off your earbuds first.

Use a pry tool to unclip the cover of the left earbud.

Carefully remove the battery from the housing.

Shown is a 3.7v 100mAh Lithium Polymer (LiPo) battery.

Carefully peel back the rubber cover from the protection circuit module (PCM).

Remove the cover and save to re-use.

Carefully bend the PCM away from the battery to make desoldering the two wires easier.

Use a soldering iron to desolder the two wires from the PCM.

Adding a JST connector would make future repairs much easier!
