Use this guide if you have a non-working or malfunctioning power button in your Nespresso Vertuo Next. The power button is used to power on and off the machine, as well as brew coffee and descale the machine. Without the power button you would never be able to use the machine, and if the button is malfunctioning, the machine would turn on and off at random moments, as well as brew coffee at random moments.
Before you remove and replace the power button, ensure that there is a direct source of electricity to the machine. If the power supply is faulty, the machine will not turn on. Also ensure that there is no damage in the wires connecting the button to the circuitry of the machine. If no damage can be located, then the power button is the most likely candidate for the problem and will need to be replaced. Before replacing, check to make sure the device is fully disconnected from any source.
