Using a T5 Torx screwdriver, remove the eleven 1/4" screws from the back of the laptop.

Locate the wireless module above the battery in the top left corner of the computer.

Using a spudger, disconnect the two metal connectors by popping the metal piece up from the wireless module.
As noted in the techdad guide to the same operation, remember that the black wire goes on the 'MAIN' connector and the white one goes the 'AUX' connector. Or just take a picture before any disassembly.

Remove the one 1/16” screw using a Phillips #00 screwdriver.

Slide the wireless module towards the battery and lift out of the laptop.

Be careful, there is a very restrictive Whitelist in the BIOS for potential replacements, unofficial support available via their forums;
(tl;dr - go with Intel AC 7260 - m.2 connection)
