Unscrew the scooter handle.

Push back the fastening clips by wedging the plastic spudger between the clip and the throttle handle.

Insert iFixit opening picks between each fastening clip and the throttle handle to prevent re-fastening.

Pull the throttle lever off gently by pulling towards you.

Apply pressure to the throttle handle until you hear the fastening clips take hold the of the throttle lever.

Reattach the scooter handle.

I had same issue.. I had no choice but to force it off and the clips remained intact. Be sure to keep it centered applying even pressure to each opposing side and it will pop off along witb the spring,

I am also looking for the brake lever. It's still under manufacturer warranty and they will not respond to my warranty ticket and cannot find parts on the website. They seem to be a very difficult company to deal with. Very frustrating.
Hover-1 EAGLE 2.0 rear brake fender came off. There is a spring and two prong meconism that I am unable to re-attach properly. Nothing is broken it just came off as I pressed down on it with just my hand.

They apparently don't exist. I've had mine for almost 2 years now. The throttle got stuck causing my son to crash, broke the throttle and now all they have are replacement parts for the newer models. Typical manufactur behavior. Break a 5 dollar part, have to replace a $230 scooter. I'll never buy another one from Hover! Stick with Razor or another well-known manufacturer. Costs a little more but at least they have parts available. Sorry about your ride and that nobody can or will help!
This is one of the most horrible companies that exist, do not purchase none of these brands. I will recommend highly razor because no one writes back and I can’t find parts for $459 freaking scooter. And I don’t have one. I have two.
I know how to get the actual throttle on and off, but what about the section still attached to the center. I wiped out on my scooter and busted the throttle off. Scooter still works. The black piece right before the throttle. How do I get that off?

I have purchase three throttles to try and fix my $459 Hover-1 BlackHawk purchased at Best Buy. They say they cannot help me when I had extended warranty. I am not axing for my money back, nor a new BlackHawk. I’ve purchased three throttles on Amazon yet does not work.
I own two hoverboards and two electric scooters and this is the only time I had an issue.
I’ve tried looking for the parts on www.hover-1.com but I can’t find the throttle if you can please email me at x.alomar08@gmail.com to find out how can I purchase a throttle for this specific electric scooter, That will be great.

Well, on this hover, one Eagle that I have the throttle was switched this messed app so I ordered another 1 and it came with a long long wire. I'm pins, so I've got a pin of a black green and red same colors on the circuit board. When you flip it up. But how do I connect a's plug in to that part? And I got it through amazon
