Use this guide to remove and replace the head strap mounts on an HTC Vive.

Use a T5 Torx driver to remove the two 12 mm-long screws securing the head strap mounts on either side of the headset.

Remove the left head strap mount from the Vive.

Pull the rubberized grip off of the head strap mount.

Push the internal locking mechanism out of the grip.

Repeat the previous three steps with the right head strap mount to remove it and separate its components.

Compare your new replacement part to the original part—you may need to transfer remaining components or remove adhesive backings from the new part before installing.
To reassemble your device, follow the above steps in reverse order.
Take your e-waste to an R2 or e-Stewards certified recycler.

how do you pute the headset back to getther on the vive.
how do you put the strape back on the right way im stuk i need some help with it.
Anybody knows where i can get the part, that is removed in step 3? On the picture it stays with the head strap mount, but the headstrap is sold without it. Im espacily looking for the plastic part, where the screw goes through.

same man, my headstrap mount and a tracker dongle broke and theres no way to replace it. fml
