Is this a joke? I expected this to be a tutorial on refurbishing the battery pack with new rechargeable AA cells.
right? my %#*@ dog could follow this “tutorial” and hes been dead 10 years
and it took 4!! FOUR people to write..
i think this needs more steps
I am extremely sorry that y’all are disappointed in our tutorial but the 4 writers that I put on this assignment were pressed for time and to compound issues both light bulbs in our writers sanctuary both burned out simultaneously. So it then took 1 person to hold the light bulb while 3 turned the office. that took 2 days to complete so thanks for your patience.
1 remove the battery pack,
2 place a 3-4mm flathead screwdriver gently in the guide slot and twist gently till you can pull the bottom cap off,
3 in mine the batteries were soldered together. I replaced the batteries, note the orientation when removing. On mine there are + and - symbols.
4 you need to connect the battery ends in series to form 2 2.4v circuits. I used 2 soda can pull tabs that I glued to 4mm of foam and separated them with a piece of plastic that I bent into an "L" shape.
test the batteries at each step.
you need 1.2v NiMH rechargeable cells
Looking at my manual, it seems the 7000 and 7300 are fairly identical, except with the 7000 you can easily replace the batteries inside as a normal feature, where the 7300 batt pack is locked together and the cells soldered together. What I am wondering is, will the 7000 pack fit into a 7300 ?
If so, swapping to a couple of 7000 battery holders will be the easiest fix for the 7300 klusterphuck..
Showing a picture of a dremel in someones hand is useless. Show them actually pulling out the battery pack. That would show where the battery pack is, where to apply pressure or pull back. This picture is useless.
