If the Dell Inspiron 13-7353 is experiencing a corrupted battery, short battery life, physical damage, or any problems requiring the battery to be replaced, use the guide below to replace the battery.

Ensure the battery is still experiencing problems before working on the components.

Before working on the device, power down the computer and clear all debris once the back of the device has been opened.

  1. Using the Phillips #0 screwdriver, remove ten 4 mm screws from the back panel.
    • Using the Phillips #0 screwdriver, remove ten 4 mm screws from the back panel.

    • Lift and remove the back panel.

  2. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the two 3 mm screws securing the battery to the laptop.
    • Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the two 3 mm screws securing the battery to the laptop.

  3. Remove the battery up and out of the computer.
    • Remove the battery up and out of the computer.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

For optimal performance, after completing this guide, calibrate your newly installed battery.

Take your e-waste to an R2 or e-Stewards certified recycler.
