Orient the crock pot where the lid locked and unlocked icons are visible.

Grasp the handle firmly and turn the lid clockwise until the arrow and the lid unlocked icon are facing each other.

Remove the lid.

Flip the lid over and expose plastic washer.

Pull the plastic washer off the bobber valve and allow the bobber valve to fall out

Ok I followed your directions but the new valve just keeps calling out?
First time I used this but the bobber valve ports steam and does not stop ( unit is brand new )
would be nice to see the other side of this. is it just supposed to be a hole on the outside up top? it is letting out air…when im trying to pressure cook.

the bobber valve got stuck I am not able to open the lid, the cooker has cooled down
what is the bobber value called that sits on top of the lid? the value is there and is fine but the part that sits on top of the lid is missing. thank you. I was told I have to buy the whole lid.

link no longer works because 10qt piece discontinued. They are shipping me valve for 8qt lid to see if it works. I have attached part number for 8 qt bobber valve gasket.
