In this guide I show you how to replace the Hose & Cuff Assembly on a Bissell SpotBot Pet carpet cleaner. Mine was left in storage for a while so the hose was very nasty so I decided to just replace it with a new one.

Remove cleaning solution tank.
-
-
-
Remove waste storage tank.
-
-
-
Remove (4) Phillips head screws.
Pro Tip: unwind the cord before trying to lift the top off
-
-
-
-
Remove top cover. Unplug ribbon cable from control board and set top aside.
-
-
-
Remove the two screws and gently move white box with wires out of the way.
-
-
-
Locate end of clear rubber tubing and remove clamp with pliers. It is nearly impossible to get the hose end off of the hose barb, so I just cut the hose close to the barb, then gently scored the tubing left on the barb to get it off.
-
-
-
Remove hose assembly by gently twisting up on hose. This end is just snug-fit with 2 O-Rings.
-
-
-
Install new hose assembly by adding a little silicone-based grease on the 2 o-rings and inserting the hose end into the hole by the waste tank inlet port. Then attatch the clear tubing on the barb, then replace the hose clamp.
Thank you for the guide! Only took me about 15 minutes to complete.
Awesome! I’m glad you were able to fix it!

Thanks Tim! You made that very easy and straight forward. I was done in 10 minutes.
Not a problem, glad it worked for you! Mine is still going strong after 2 years.
Worked like a charm. You had very good pictures and easy to understand explanation
This is great thanks! I got as far removing the clamps and was afraid to move forward, my replacement hose did not come with new clamps and I am worried I will break them. This is my first time working with clamps. I searched the internet and found your site. This is wonderful, thank you very much.
Breathed new life into our SpotBot with these instructions, thank you!!
I don’t need to replace it but just want to soak the house in water so clean it out, I was dumb and didn’t suck up plain water after doing alto attic cleanings and now can’t hardly see through the hose. Can I follow the same instruction to do this or this is to be done for replacement purposes ONLY?
Where can I order parts for Bissell Spotbot? Hose is split due to being in storage in garage.

Excellent instructions. Thank you SO much!
Great instructions! The part number didn't match for my appliance repair shop/vendor in Canada but my tech was smart and figured out the part to order. Came in and it was surprising how easily it replaced. Yay for repairability design. The part I received has a very slightly longer hose so hopefully it won't crack again in the same spot as the tension is less!
