    • Pull the triggers straight up and out of their recesses to remove them.

If the trigger has stopped working, the most likely culprit is the spring has collapsed and the magnets on the trigger are overwhelming the sensor on the daughter board. Once the trigger is removed, you can either replace it altogether with a new part or attempt to repair the old part. To attempt repair, simply GENTLY apply pressure to the spring for a few seconds to open it. Be sure to calibrate the trigger once reinstalled, this will allow you to test functionality. Replace the trigger as necessary from this point

    • During reassembly:

    • Compress the trigger and firmly push it into place on the chassis so the cutouts on the hinge go over their alignment posts. The trigger should stay in place.

    • Keep the trigger compressed and install the two screws.

    • Test the trigger before continuing reassembly. If it's not working properly, remove the trigger and make sure it's properly aligned on the hinge.

    • Two plastic clips secure each trigger to its hinge.

    • Carefully pull the trigger away from the hinge one side at a time to detach both clips.

    • To install a trigger on its hinge:

    • Make sure the middle section of the spring is looped over the tab on the hinge with the bent ends facing down.

    • With the trigger on the opposite side of the hinge screw-holes, clip it into place so the coiled parts of the spring are between the trigger clips.

    • The trigger should compress and spring back when you press it down.

Is this the same part as the Ally X?

So there's no wires going to the trigger assembly, how is the trigger depression being detected?? It's the joystick assembly detecting it somehow, right?? I replaced the stick with a hall effect and now the trigger isn't working on that same side.

Eric Birecki - crwdns2934203:0crwdne2934203:0

There is electromagnetic interference between the trigger and joystick. You need to use some shielding paper.
