Background
The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H1 was introduced in February 2005. The DSC-H1 was Sony's initial attempt at creating small, large zoom, and image-stabilized cameras. The camera provides the photographer with a vast degree of photographic control with options such as: various exposure modes, records videos at VGA/30 fps, and a large 2.5-inch digital viewing screen. Additionally, the DSC-H1 utilizes: 5.1 megapixels, 36 mm-432 mm (12x optical) F2.8-3.7 lens, Sony's "Super Steady Shot" image stabilization, 32MB internal memory (and memory stick slot), tele and wide lens converters, and a real imaging processor.
Identification
You can identify your Sony Cyber-shot by the model "DSC-H1" and serial numbers printed on a label located near the mounting socket on the bottom of your camera. The model number is also printed on the top right of the LCD screen.
