Background
The Sharper Image SVC430 is the 3rd generation waterproof camera for the SVC line released in 2014. The dimensions of the device are 4 x 1.5 x 3 inches and weighs 1 pound. This camera has a 120 degree wide angle view, 4x digital zoom, 12 megapixel 1080p HD, and a 1.5 inch LCD screen. When purchased, the device includes a waterproof case, helmet and bike mount, a USB cord, and a 4GB memory card. The device is no longer sold by Sharper Image but can be found on Amazon or eBay.
Identification
This model of Sharper Image SVC is identified by a sticker on the back of the camera near the record/on/off button. The device is easily differentiated from other waterproof cameras because rather than being square, like its prior generations, this device is rectangular with the LCD screen and controls on the right side, with the record/on/off button on the rear.
