The Samsung SPH-A760 was introduced in November 2003 as the first Push To Talk (PTT) Phone for Sprint from Samsung. This early model features a speakerphone, speaker-independent voice dialing, a large external display, and Voice SMS.

The 1000 mAh Li Ion battery has a maximum of 3 hours (180 minutes) talking, 216 hours max (9 days) standby, and 2.5 days standby with ReadyLink enabled. The LCD display has a resolution of 128 x 160 pixels; this 16-bit LCD displays 65,536 colors. The phone also has a 300 phone book capacity and 1 MB of internal memory.
