Background
The Samsung BD-F5700 is a Blu-Ray disc player made by Samsung in 2013 and is part of the 5700 series of Blu-Ray players from the company.
This device is mainly used for the purpose of playing Blu-Ray discs and DVDs. Because of the Wi-Fi capabilities of the device, it can also be used as a home streaming device. The device has an HDMI output and a 2 channel Dolby Digital audio output. This particular model does not feature HD up-scaling.
The Samsung BD-F5700 was replaced by the 2014 HM57 series Blu-Ray player.
Identification
This model is identified mainly by the model number on the back of the device. The device has a rounded front right edge with the navigation buttons on the top of that side and the disc tray on the left of the device. A white Blu-Ray logo is visible on the front of the disc tray.
