Background
The Porter Cable PC60TAG is Porter Cable’s small version angle grinder. The device uses 6.0 amps at 120V and 11,000 rpms which is significantly slower than Porter Cable’s high powered models. The ⅝” - 11 spindle thread is compatible with 4-½” x ¼” x ⅞” disks provided by Porter Cable. Other key features includes an adjustable two-position handle and an adjustable guard to ensure max safety. Both guard and handle are removable, however it is not recommended. The max volt output is 120 V AC. There are no manufacturer recalls, and the main issues with this device are debris build-up and damaged power cords.
Identification
The grinder may be properly identified by reading the nameplate located on the handle of the device, which includes the model number (PC60TAG), as well as other information about the device.
