Background
The Nikon Coolpix L830 is a compact digital camera released by Nikon in January 2014. Its major features include 34x optical zoom and 68x Dynamic Fine Zoom. This model is designed to be simple and easy to use, with an Easy Auto Mode to automatically optimize the settings and Hybrid Vibration Reduction to reduce photo blur resulting from slightly shaking the camera. Additionally, the L830 has a 3.0” LCD and shoots Full HD 1080p videos.
The Coolpix L830 was released along with three other digital cameras in the Nikon Coolpix L-series: L330, L30, and L29. The L330 has a similar design and 26x optical zoom, while the L30 and L29 are much smaller digital cameras with 5x optical zoom. To differentiate from the earlier L820 model, the Coolpix L830 has a tilting LCD and greater zoom ability, as well as Digital Fine Zoom.
Identification
You can identify your Nikon Coolpix L830 by checking the label on the bottom of the camera for the model and serial numbers. This camera was released in three colors: plum, black, and red.
