Background and Identification

Apple's Magic Trackpad 2 was released alongside the Late 2015 iMac collection on October 14. Like the Magic Mouse 2 and Magic Keyboard, it features a internal non-replaceable lithium-ion battery. The Magic Trackpad 2 also features a Force Touch surface with haptic feedback, the first desktop trackpad to do so. The Trackpad has a Lightning port for charging and pairing to a Mac, but can also connect wirelessly via Bluetooth.
