Background

Both in dimensions and bowl-size (3.5-qt./3.3-L), the KitchenAid Artisan Mini (called the KitchenAid Mini in some countries) is the smallest mixer in the KitchenAid lineup. Even though it is small, it offers a 250-watt direct current (DC) motor. In contrast to the other tilt-head models which use alternating current (AC) motors, the Artisan Mini’s direct current motor is quieter and more efficient.

Dimensions/Weight

The mixer is 12.5 inches/312 mm tall, 7.75 inches/198 mm wide, and 12.5 inches/312 mm deep and weighs only 16.5 pounds/6.5 kg.

Note: the metric and imperial units are reported directly from the international and USA product pages and, as a result, may differ slightly from each other.

Identification

The following model numbers are in the KitchenAid Artisan Mini series:

  • KSM3316X
  • KSM3311X
