Background
The Garmin Nuvi 2539LMT (2014) provides users with real-time directions using recognizable landmarks, buildings, and traffic lights as well as street names. The GPS system uses an integrated Birdseye and photoReal junction view operated by a touch screen to showcase directions. The Garmin Nuvi should be plugged into the automobile at all times but does have the battery capacity to be unplugged for up to two hours at a time.
The Garmin Nuvi utilizes lane guidance technology as well in order to direct drivers into the proper lanes for their route. Though the device does not support voice active navigation control, it does use real voice announcements to announce upcoming directions. The Garmin Nuvi allows for multi-destination routing for route optimization, and has preloaded maps of the United States, Canada and Mexico on the device for the customers ease.
