Background and Information
The DeWalt DW997 cordless hammer drill is a Type 4 device made by DeWalt in Hampstead, MD. It has an 18v DC rechargable battery and has a 1/2" adjustable clutch. It can rotate up to 1850 RPMs. The device is yellow with the name on the side in yellow lettering surrounded by a black box. It has a speed switch and two drill bit holders near the top, as well as a forward/reverse switch near the trigger. The torque selector is located behind the chuck. It is a keyless chuck system.
