Background
The Canon FS30 was released in January 2010 with features such as the 41x Advanced Zoom. Included is a 680,000 pixel video resolution and a 0.45 megapixel photo resolution played back on a 2.7-inch LCD screen. Canon’s Quick Charge feature reduces the charge time for the FS30’s battery. The camcorder has a glossy, grey finish and weighs 10.1 ounces, making it great for daily use.
Identification
You can identify your Canon FS30 camcorder by the model number printed on the outside of the LCD screen. The serial number can be found on the bottom of the camera, printed on a sticker, or under the battery. For additional help identifying your camera, take a look at the Canon support page.
