Background
The PS3 Wireless Afterglow Controller was released in 2014 and was the first wireless PS3 controller from Afterglow. The Afterglow controller series also comes in a wired version for the PlayStation 3 and a wired version for the Xbox One.
The controller features a 2.4GHz wireless link via the included dongle, a rechargeable battery that can last for up to 10 hours of play, and 3 lighting modes (On, Off, Pulse). Upon purchase, the controller comes with a USB cord for charging and a dongle to connect the controller to the PlayStation.
Identification
The PS3 Wireless Afterglow controller is available in transparent green, blue, red, and clear. The casing is made of polycarbonate. You can find product information embossed on the bottom of the casing to identify your device.
