Background and Identification

The PS3 Wireless Afterglow Controller was released in 2014 and was the first wireless PS3 controller from Afterglow. The Afterglow controller series also comes in a wired version for the PlayStation 3 and a wired version for the Xbox One.

The PS3 Wireless Afterglow controller comes in three colors: green, blue and red. The controller features a 2.4GHz wireless link via the included dongle, a rechargeable battery that can last for up to 10 hours of play, and 3 lighting modes (On, Off, Pulse). Upon purchase the controller comes with a USB cord for charging and a dongle to connect the controller to the PlayStation.
