Company was started in 2015 when the founder's, Slater Guevara, iPad earphone jack didn't work. He bought a new earphone jack, but when he in the process of changing it he ripped the digitizer cable. He bought a new one. Using IFIXIT guides he completed the job and decided he should spread the word.
