Repair, disassembly, and troubleshooting information for the Moto G Power 5G, a Motorola smartphone released in 2024. Identified by model number XT2415.
i have a unlocked verizon moto g power 5G - 2024 and was using an esim thru TELLO wireless(for about one year) and a few days ago i accidently deleted the esim. i have a new esim from the same network(TELLO wireless) and now it will not allow me to download the new esim
I asked FixBot (Ai) your question and the result is below in italics. Beware of Ai mistakes. I too somehow deleted my sim (card) after attempting to lock it and was unable to unlock it. Went online with my carrier and was instructed to install it from a download. This was recent forgot the exact procedure. If I'm not mistaken, I needed a wifi connection to download the software onto my phone since the cellular connection is disabled. Afterwards, following instructions, the new esim was installed. My carrier sent a new sim card anyway. The phone's number, EID and maybe another number are needed to mate with the esim.

When an eSIM is deleted from an Android device, the underlying profile data and its one-time-use activation token are wiped from the hardware, while carrier servers may still register the previous profile as active or consumed 1. Even if you requested a replacement from Tello, the download can fail if Tello's backend system has not fully reset and reprovisioned the line, or if your phone is caching a stale configuration or partial profile.
To resolve this issue, reach out directly to Tello support and ask them to verify that your line's eSIM profile has been completely reset on their end and that a brand-new, unused activation profile is tied to your phone's EID. Before trying the download again, ensure you are connected to a stable Wi-Fi network, check that all old or hidden eSIM profiles are cleared from your device settings under Network & internet > SIMs, and restart your phone 2.
