Fixing my LCD Screen

Dropped my HP 14 ep-2000 on the floor. Small patch of dead pixels in the top left corner of the LCD screen and horizontal and vertical lines across the screen. Lines flash on and off. I have two questions. What screen do I need to order and how do I repair it?

The dead-pixel patch and flashing lines after a drop strongly suggest a damaged LCD panel. Don't order a screen based on “14-ep-2000” alone; press Fn + Esc to find your exact HP product number, since panel options can vary. For the repair, follow the HP service guide, disconnect the charger and internal battery, then carefully remove the bezel and panel.

Thanks for the tips Malcom! My laptop's bezel does not have any visible screws to remove it. How would I get the bezel off safely?

@eriksonc The bezel is usually held by plastic clips, sometimes with adhesive. On the HP 14-ep0000/ep2000, HP has an official teardown video showing bezel removal at 26:16. Use a plastic spudger and work slowly around the edges; don't force it, or the clips may break. Make sure the laptop is unplugged and the internal battery disconnected first.
