Code P0758 Camry 1998 V6

Hi everyone! I have a 1998 Toyota Camry V6 with Automatic transmission. I’ve got a Check Engine light with code P0758 wich means Solenoid B Electrical. The car is originally from California and drove 41 000 miles there before it got imported to Norway in 2007. It has only drove 42 000 miles since then here in Norway, so I find it difficult to see a problem with the wirings. Does anyone have experienced kind of the same problem and help me out?

The car is approx. 28 years old so a wiring problem is not out of the question. The wiring could fail for any number of reasons e.g. corrosion, wiring fatigue etc.

Here's the P0758 diagnosis and repair procedure from the service manual, that may help.
