Can I replace the USB C Controller on my Surface BOOK 3 15" and where do I get the right parts?

You can replace the USB-C port, but the USB-C controller chip is a board-level repair, not a simple plug-in part. On the Surface Book 3 15", the USB-C hardware is part of the motherboard, so replacing the port or controller means microsoldering. Microsoft also classifies these as complex electronic repairs requiring the right tools and skills.
I’d first make sure the port itself is actually bad. Look for bent pins, debris, or a cracked solder joint. If the port is physically damaged, search for a Surface Book 3 15" USB-C port replacement rather than a controller.
